Name: Stefan Harzen – January 2017
Of all the tourism development that has occurred over the last decade in Comporta, Jose and his horses are the only one that represents the spirit and soul (alma) essence of Comporta, I first experienced in the 1980’s and came to love. I have spent the summers there almost every year since, and Jose represents the very best of the people there. His charm and kindness, his willingness to share this heritage and stories with strangers makes him a great ambassador for Comporta and Portugal. With both feet on the ground you will find him mostly in the saddle.
