The following projects where designed by Portuguese architects and incorporated into the master design developments around low density accommodation integrated within the natural environment. News from Comporta
13th April 2015
Due to the insolvency of Rio Forte who are part of the Banco Espirito Santo and major shareholders of the Herdade da Comporta (59%), an American group of investors Armory Merchant Holdings have made a €400,000,000 offer to purchase the estate.
As part of the package, €100,000,000 will be used to pay/buy the existing debt and a further €100,000,000 will go towards developing the estate, although everything is still under negotiation and nothing has been finalised quite yet.
This could be great news for the future of Comporta and should bode well for the locals, employment, existing property owners and future buyers.
