Brejinho da Costa
Driving from Comporta to Grândola there’s a right turning just after Muda to Brejinho d’Água Winery.
Follow this road for three minutes and you will find the winery and store on the right hand side.
Brejinho da Costa is a local winery and family company in Comporta that saw the potential of this region to produce wine.
In a long standing tradition, all of the grapes on the estate are still harvested by hand.
Several factors are essential to the quality of the wine that is produced here including;
The proximity to the Atlantic coast, the sandy soil, sun exposure and the unique weather in this part of Alentejo.

Visit the Brejinho da Costa shop in Comporta where you will find products including;
Extra virgin olive oil (ecologic mill)
Sparkling wine
Pear jam with red wine
Sweet and fortified Moscatel wine
Moscatel Roxo
Aguardente (brandy)
Local pine nuts
Guided Tours of the Cellar
From Monday to Friday (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Saturdays depending on availability.
To reserve your tour you must book at least 24 hours in advance by email.
There are three types of wine tasting, Colheita, Selection, and Reserva.
The price varies between €10 and €20 pax.
You can also pair the wines with regional products such as olives, bread, sausages and cheese for an additional €5.
Lunch comprises several typical dishes from Alentejo which are matched with Quinta do Brejinho wines.
Minimum 4 and maximum 12 persons (€30 pax). Reservation required.
