Dona Bia Restaurant
E.N. 261, Torre
Phone: +351 265 497 557
Driving from Comporta to Carvalhal the only way you can miss Dona Bia is if you are looking right to the ravishing rice fields, because the restaurant is right on the (left) side of the road, before Torre.
The amount of cars usually parked outside is a sign that you are at the correct place, but is as well an indication that this is one of the best, and therefore, one of the most crowded in Comporta, so we recommend that you reserve a table to avoid disappointment.
Dona Bia is best known for the dishes based on rice from the region, but also for the fried and grilled fresh fish and the seafood.
In Portuguese way, rice can be served as a main course cooked with an array of shellfish, like razor clams, prawns and crab.
As traditional tomato, bean, clams or coriander rice is a side dish for the fantastic john dory fillets, fried horse mackerel or sole, cod in tempura and other fried fish. Fish eggs bread soup is an option as well.
Most of the dishes at Dona Bia restaurant are for two and the portions are really generous.
